Visit Flanders reaffirms its commitment to tourism for all.

In order to make tourism accessible for all, one of the partners of Visit Flanders has opened the 100th counter that offers accessible tourism options to the citizens of Brussels and the Flemish region.

Visit Flanders continues its commitment to make holidays possible for all. In this regard, since 2008 Rap op Stap - part of the rubric ‘Iedereen Verdient Vakantie’ (Everyone Deserves Holidays) of Visit Flanders - is carrying out an initiative that allows people with a limited budget to take part in tourism through an accessible offer available in specialized counters.

During January 2021, they opened the second of its counters in Brussels, located in the heart of the city. The counters are located all over the Flemish region as well as Brussels, and this one in particular is the 100th opened by Rap op Stap. It will be able to reach a wider audience, which for Brussels citizens is highly relevant as it is estimated that 1 out of 3 of them is eligible to access the social rates for tourism services of Everyone Deserves Holidays of Visit Flanders.

In general, the counters have booked more than 22.5% of tourism services related to the rubric Everyone Deserves Holidays, which is considerable taking into account that the network Rap op Stap represents only 4.5% of all social organizations that conform the network of Visit Flanders.
