The Gaspar Espuña Foundation - CETT, based in Barcelona, was created in 2000, with the main objectives of promoting training in the tourism and hotel sector; carrying out studies on the economic, social and technological aspects of tourism and hotel business; giving advice to public or private, national or international organisations in the field of tourism and hotel business concerning the planning and realisation of their activities; allocating scholarships to people with limited financial means but who have proved their abilities and vocation for working in the tourism sector; collaborating on projects and activities in this field and participating in the development of the Hotel and Tourism Studies Faculty at the University of Barcelona and developing a residence for students and professors in Barcelona.
