Temps Jeunes is an association founded in Lyon in 1988. Temps Jeunes is a national association, approved by the State and recognised by hundreds of works councils, numerous local authorities and more than 200,000 families. An human-size association, Temps Jeunes currently has 25 permanent employees. For more than 30 years, Temps Jeunes has been successfully hosting thousands of children in camps and discovery classes. The association offers BAFA and BAFD training courses for leaders and directors. The project is inspired by the Association's founding principles and values:

• Allowing everyone, in a desire for social and cultural diversity, to participate in quality educational activities
• Encouraging the participation and empowerment of each member, whether adult or minor, by learning about community life and democracy
• Abiding to the International Convention on the Rights of the Child
