The international network of the International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO) keeps expanding throughout the world, with the recent acceptance of the membership of 9 new members from 4 different countries.
During the first months of 2024, the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors both approved the membership applications from 8 organizations and one researcher to join ISTO’s Alliance on Training and Research. This expansion comprises diverse actors, from public authorities to associations and academics, and participates in reinforcing the commitment of ISTO to inclusive, fair and sustainable tourism all around the world.
These new additions build into the importance of keeping on the global momentum around the development of a form of tourism that prioritizes the well-being of the people. From their different standpoint, all of our members are committed to promoting social sustainability in tourism and do their bit in their respective territories. ISTO bids welcome to its new members:
