With the participation of ISTO members from Brazil, Canada, France, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico and Portugal the third and final SDGs workshop for accommodations took place on December 1st.
ISTO organized a series of 3 workshops for its members from the accommodation sector. This allowed them to exchange knowledge with 3 experts of ViaVia Tourism Academy and Route 30, as well as with the other participants of the workshops. The main topic was the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In each session, participants explored the SDGs from different approaches ranging from change, to leadership and to storytelling & reporting.
It is important to highlight that each workshop lasted 2 hours, and those who participated in at least 2 of them will receive a recognition certificate for their initiative and compromise to work towards a more sustainable tourism activity.
The workshops counted with the participation of 8 organizations and a total of 12 regular attendees. The organizations were based in Brazil, Canada, France, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico and Portugal.
We invite you to stay updated about future workshops related to the Sustainable Development Goals.
