The Hidalgo State Tourism Secretariat (Secretaría de Turismo del Estado de Hidalgo) is the body responsible for planning, promoting and strengthening sustainable tourism development in the state, through the coordination of public policies, the attraction of investment, the professionalisation of the sector, the promotion of tourist destinations, and the creation of conditions that foster competitiveness, the conservation of biocultural heritage, and the economic and social well-being of Hidalgo’s communities.
