On 8 September, part of the ISTO team met in person with the directors and the education officer of the Youth Hostels in Wallonia and Brussels.
Considering that the restrictive measures imposed in response to Covid-19 are starting to be relaxed, it is finally possible to hold meetings with the partners. Therefore, at the beginning of September, ISTO Director Charles E. Bélanger and Communications Officer Sabrina Urrutia were able to meet with some of the Walloon and Brussels Youth Hostel team in Brussels.
This was an opportunity for ISTO to present to its partners the main lines of the Action Plan 2021-2022 as well as its activity report of the previous period. It was also an opportunity for Bernard Fauville, the current Director of the hostels who is retiring after 40 years with the network of hostels, to introduce his successor, Luc Mesuere.
The meeting was a pleasant moment that updated both organisations on the actions they are developing and opened the space to generate ideas for collaborations in the near future.
