For the second edition of the ISTO Awards, the members of ISTO have once again responded. 24 member organisations applied, presenting their projects, programmes and research work. Each project makes an important contribution to the development of a form of tourism that is more respectful of local communities, tourism workers and visitors.
After evaluation by a panel of judges consisting of members of the Board of Directors, Conseil des Sage and 1 member whose organisation won the ISTO Awards in 2022, ISTO is very pleased to present the 9 projects shortlisted.
The last evaluation will be carried out by a new jury composed of members of the ISTO Executive Committee and an external member, and the announcement of the 3 winners will be made at a ceremony to be held on 25 October during the ISTO World Congress in San José, Costa Rica.
