Created in 1982, the Guerrero State's Secretaría de Turismo aims to promote and stimulate the development of tourism in the state through the promotion and execution of actions that allow for the strengthening, integration and growth of the productive sector for Guerrero’s population benefit. Taking the above as the main axis of our public policies, the Secretaría de Turismo has the obligation to promote the entire tourism approach in Guerrero, with the objective of making the tourism sector a cornerstone of the state's economy and that the state itself becomes a tourism reference at a national and an international level.
