ISTO President and ISTO Americas President meet in Brussels.

ISTO Secretariat was visited by Isabel Novoa, President of ISTO, and Sergio Rodriguez, President of ISTO Americas on Wednesday 1 June.

Brussels was the point of encounter that allowed the Presidents of ISTO and ISTO Americas to meet with the Secretary General, Director and team of the International Social Tourism Organization (ISTO). During the morning, the ISTO President and part of the team attended the Visit Flanders Day event, organised by Visit Flanders in Leuven. This day provided relevant points of view to consider regarding the relaunch of tourism worldwide.

In the afternoon, both Presidents had the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas on tourism for all worldwide. On this occasion, the Presidents and the Secretary General were able to discuss strategic guidelines for the further development of ISTO's activities and to focus efforts on priority areas.

Sergio Rodriguez was able to share with the ISTO team the current situation and perspectives of social tourism in the Americas. This is of particular relevance for the strategic development of the organisation.
