ISTO's Trade Union Task Force proposes that quality of life and well-being indicators should consider participation in leisure, tourism and holiday activities.
On the occasion of the Porto Social Summit on 7 and 8 May, the International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO) Trade Union Task Force presents a proposal to recognise participation in leisure, tourism and holiday activities as one of the indicators of quality of life and well-being of European citizens.
It should be remembered that this summit, which is being held under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU, aims to strengthen the commitment of the Member States, the European institutions, the social partners and civil society to the implementation of the action plan of the European Pillar of Social Rights.
