Sesc Santa Catarina develops various activities, including social tourism, which aims to offer tours and excursions that provide unique experiences to its clients. The programs are designed and planned with an educational focus, aiming to democratize access to leisure, respect, and value the natural and cultural aspects of each region, while seeking an ethical and sustainable operation for both clients and host communities. Sesc SC’s social tourism is divided into outbound and inbound tourism. In 2023, outbound tourism developed 311 programs, serving 9,226 clients. These programs are offered at the operational units of the state of Santa Catarina. As for inbound tourism, 44 groups from other brazilian states were received. Sesc operates 3 hotels in Santa Catarina, being: Hotel Sesc Cacupé (Florianópolis), Hotel Sesc Blumenau and Pousada Rural de Lages.
