In the framework of the International Week of Fair and Sustainable Tourism for All, more than 40 activities were carried out highlighting best practices in relation to tourism for all.
The third edition of the International Week of Fair and Sustainable Tourism for All, organised by the International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO), took place from 20 to 26 June, with the participation of 40 members from all over the world.
A total of 44 activities took place, with a total of 18 countries represented. The events organised by ISTO members included publications, videos, tours, yoga days, webinars, round tables, among others.
Thanks to the commitment of the ISTO members, it was possible to showcase at local, regional, national and international level the development of fair and sustainable tourism for all, which focuses on people and their experiences.
For its part, ISTO organised its General Assembly on 20 June as well as 3 workshops and 3 networking sessions. The workshops focused on the discussion that will contribute to building the programme of the ISTO World Congress 2022 to be held in October in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal.
Regarding the networking sessions, ISTO partners were invited to present their organisations, projects and initiatives and to seek collaboration with each other. It is worth noting that ISTO Connect will be held again at the ISTO World Congress.
Once again thanks to all members for their support, commitment and participation in the 3rd International Week of Fair and Sustainable Tourism for All!
