On Wednesday 17 March 2021, a dozen members of the ISTO Europe Coordination Council met by videoconference to discuss various topics, in particular the ISTO Europe Forum planned for Lyon on 1 and 2 June 2021.
The discussions began with a progress report on the work of the three groups created in December 2020. As a reminder, ISTO Europe currently has three working groups: Advocacy and European Relations, Social Policies in Tourism and Youth Tourism. Since their creation, many objectives and working methods have been put in place in order to make progress in their respective fields.
Part of the meeting was also devoted to the ISTO Europe Forum which should take place, health permitting, in Lyon on 1 and 2 June 2021. The programme for the two days includes conferences, working time for the three groups and also time for exchanges between Forum participants.
