The Barrancas del Cobre Adventure Park is an organisation that promotes responsible tourism, moving towards more sustainable development paths, offering unforgettable experiences to visitors and generating the least possible impact on the environment. The main activities are: cable car, via ferrata, zip rider, 7 zip line circuit, artisan shopping plaza, regional food restaurant.
The communities offer: bicycle rentals, hiking, rarámuri experiences, motorbike rentals and horseback riding. Twelve years after the founding of the Adventure Park, it maintains a social focus, operating under the following guiding principles: safety, innovation, inclusion, gender perspective, indigenous perspective, sustainability, professionalisation and certifications. It is constantly updated on issues of vital importance to the organisation, which is currently made up of 102 employees, 95% of whom are from the region, 45% are of Rarámuri ethnicity and 39% are women.
The Adventure Park seeks to generate economic development in the region, benefiting both tourists and the people who live in the surrounding communities, mainly the Rarámuri ethnic group which directly manages its projects, promotes them and realises them in the Park.
