Poraka Nova's vision is the improvement of the people with intellectual disabilities and their families' quality of life. Poraka Nova's mission is to work on the effective promotion of the people with intellectual disabilities and their families' rights, in a way that all citizens with a intellectual disability receive the adequate support and resources they need.

Poraka Nova has a sufficient number of services covering all target groups of the association who, through their work and actions, affect the realisation of the association's vision, mission, and objectives, and manage the programmes. The association has services for people with disabilities, families with a member with disabilities, employees, and volunteers of the association, and another service for training and research.
