Since 1938, JPA has organised every year the Campagne nationale de Solidarité under the Ministry of National Education's auspices. The JPA undertakes actions in order to make holidays and leisure education recognised as complementary educational time that the school and the family. The JPA campaigned for a comprehensive education that is active and cooperative, the school time and leisure time contributing on complementarity. It is for leisure, for the values that underlie and practices implemented, extend the education provided by the School of the Republic. The JPA likes to recall political and educative stakeholders that "Going to school is a right as well as going on holiday".
