In order to help the tourist sector hard hit by the coronavirus crisis, Wallonia (Belgium) has released a budget of €5 million to issue tourism vouchers worth €80 to encourage people to visit Wallonia this autumn.
The aim: to encourage the attendance of Walloon tourism operators during the off-season of 2020 and enable all publics to (re)discover the wonders of Wallonia.
The first batch of 20,000 vouchers worth 80 euros offered on Monday 5 October 2020 by the Office for the Promotion of Tourism in Wallonia to support the sector was sold out in less than half an hour.
Next month, a new batch of 20,000 vouchers will be distributed.
