The International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO) is sending a message of solidarity to all its members and partners in Spain, and more particularly in the Valencia region, following the floods which have claimed many victims and caused serious material damage.
ISTO's thoughts are with the people who have lost loved ones, property and homes, as well as with the towns, villages and organisations, including Visit Valencia, an ISTO member, which are working together to carry out a range of actions to help the people affected and help them overcome the consequences of this unprecedented disaster.
This new climatic episode reminds us of the urgent need to act and to implement all the initiatives that can contribute to the environment, to the well-being of populations and to a better use and distribution of resources on the planet.
