A partnership agreement between the Commissariat Général au Tourisme (General Commissariat for Tourism) and the Asbl Article 27 sets out the terms and conditions for access to the tourist and recreational offer for one day through a system of Art 27 Tickets distributed by the social sector to people in precarious situations. This ticket gives them access to most tourist attractions for the affordable price of €1.25. A compensatory amount per ticket is paid by Asbl Article 27 to operators who join the scheme. The partnership also provides for the organisation of group outings by bus for people who are less independent or have no means of transport. Throughout June, the Walloon tourism sector is being made aware of this scheme to boost membership.
