An ISTO event

6 October 2021.

The European section of the International Social Tourism Organisation is organising this forum which was held in Lyon (France) from 4 to 6 October 2021.

This meeting was intended for ISTO Europe members and partners and was also open to all ISTO members. Two main themes for the 2021 edition: a first one on the notion of sustainable and responsible tourism destination; what does it mean in concrete terms? and a second one on the future for tourism for all actors and accommodations; how to reinvent ourselves? An intervention by the ISTO Alliance for Training and Research on the theme of tourism and health was also planned in addition to the presence of representatives of the European institutions.
