The proclamation just took place on 23 October in San José, Costa Rica during the ISTO World Congress. The election concerned the new composition of the Board of Directors elected for the next 4 years.
The renewal process of part of the Board of Directors, according to the statutes of the International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO), led to the election of 15 new member organisations for the period 2024-2028. The elected candidates are joining the Directors that have an ongoing mandate running from 2022 to 2026.
After an election carried out online, where 137 member organisations could submit their vote, the new Board of Directors was approved and proclaimed at the General Assembly on Wednesday 23 October in San José, Costa Rica during the 2024 ISTO World Congress.
