A framework agreement between the Agence Nationale pour les Chèques-Vacances (ANCV) and ISTO has been signed for 2021 and 2022.
For the year 2021, three areas of work have been selected
- Development of the Social and Solidarity Tourism Observatory project: the objective is to have quantitative and qualitative information that will enable us to understand what social and solidarity tourism represents, to measure its evolution and to better identify the characteristics of the demand and supply at the global level.
- Research on the issue of the benefits resulting from going on holiday: in the current economic and social context, the advantages of mobility and participation in tourism for the various groups, particularly the most vulnerable, must be further emphasised in order to strengthen the policies, programmes and mechanisms that encourage people to go on holiday.
- Participation and visibility of the ANCV in ISTO activities and events: this will be reflected in particular in the ISTO Europe Forum to be held in Lyon from 4 to 6 October and in a CafecISTO Europe on the theme of senior tourism.
