Through the development of trekking routes in one of Nepal’s districts, Garima Voyage Travels and Tours has been able to create a sustainable development model on which other activities will be able to rely.
Garima Voyage Travels and Tours, ISTO member, was founded in 2017 by Federica Riccadonna and Rabindra Aryal. Both of them are committed to fighting poverty supporting peace processes.
In 2018 they started to develop new trekking routes in Sindhupalchowk, Nepal. This project was able to come to life thanks to the commitment of people, the support of local authorities and technical assistance.
The aims of the developed routes are to provide the tourist with an authentic experience and to expand the tourism offer, which will allow the local communities to perceive more economic benefits from the tourism activity.
The project must balance the requirements of visitors to virgin natural environments and the well-being and respect of the local communities.
