Panel discussion: ‘10% more people going on holiday by 2030 – what if it were possible?’

Panel discussion: ‘10% more people going on holiday by 2030 – what if it were possible?’.

France

As we mark the 90th anniversary of paid holidays in 2026 – a right extended by the Popular Front to all employees – only 60% of French people go on holiday each year; a situation characterised by significant economic and social inequalities. Going on holiday is a matter of social justice, but also of inclusion, health, mobility and an economic issue for local areas.

What if holidays were the common denominator of a prevention and development approach that addresses multiple challenges through a single objective – a 10% increase in the number of people going on holiday by 2030?

Panel discussion organised by Vacances Ouvertes on Friday 29 May at 2 pm.
