On September 23rd, ISTO held its General Assembly by video-conference, which brought together more than 85 participants.
This assembly, which had been preceded the day before by a meeting of the Board of Directors, was an opportunity to present the 2019-2020 Activity Report of the association and its regional chapters as well as the financial report for the year 2019, which were approved by the members.
However, this Assembly was also an opportunity for the new President of ISTO, Isabel Novoa, to present an operational plan for the coming months aimed at developing new initiatives in the areas of training, communication and research with the creation of an Observatory of Social and Fair Tourism.
The Assembly also renewed part of the Board of Directors with the re-election of 8 directors and the election of 5 new members to the Board, which now consists of 30 members from 15 countries.
The 5 new Board members:

- Batoufam Tourisme et Loisirs (Cameroon)
- ATLED (Algeria)
- Association européenne Route d'Artagnan (France)
