The Directorate General for Tourism (DGT), is the public administration body for tourism of the Government of Catalonia. The DGT is attached to the Ministry of Enterprise and Labour, and has the power to implement all policies concerning the tourism sector. The DGT provides for the legal coordination of tourism activities and establishments, with regard to competitiveness and the sustainability of the conditions for training, information and validation of quality criteria. Catalan Tourism Agency, the official tourist office.
