The Federcultura Turismo Sport is a special division of the Confederation of Italian Cooperatives (Confcooperative) . Its role is to represent and assist the cooperatives operating in the following areas: communication, information, hospitality and travel, schools, tourism services, space management, cultural activities, entertainment, sports and leisure. The Federation:

• Develops and defines the opportunities and development programmes for its members;
• Assists and represents its members at the union level, while providing technical legal services as well as administrative and financial support;
• Organises and promotes vocational training to members, employees and executives;
• Distributes regularly technical information to its members;
• Manages relationships with Confcooperative and structures and relations with international and national organisations involved in the same sectors.
