Biography

In 2015, Andreia Moura obtained a PhD in Tourism, notably in Accessible Tourism, or Tourism for All. She is an Invited Adjunct Professor at Coimbra Education School, Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, Portugal; Integrated researcher at GOVCOPP - Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies, University of Aveiro, Portugal; Collaborating researcher at CiTUR - Centre for Research, Development and Innovation in Tourism, RIPTUR, Portugal.
Her research interests relate to social tourism; tourism planning and destination competitiveness, and human capital in tourism. Nowadays, she is the Co-Coordinator of the project HCTourism - Profile and Trends in Human Capital in the Tourism Sector, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Portugal 2020 Operational Programme for Competitiveness and Internationalisation; and Researcher of the project ACTION - Accessible tourism: Co-creation of tourism experiences through intelligent web-based systems, financed by the Portuguese public agency that supports science, technology and innovation.
