New ISTO Europe Coordination Committee.

On november 9th, Muriel Antoniotti - Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Tourisme - assumed the presidency of ISTO Europe.

A new Coordination Committee of ISTO Europe was established on November 9th. The Committee, made up by 16 representatives of member organisations from 6 countries (Belgium, France, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Portugal) has elected Muriel Antoniotti (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Tourisme) as its president, who will ensure the general coordination of the Committee as well as the representation of the European members within ISTO bodies. She will be supported by two vice-presidents and a secretary in charge of leading 3 working groups:

  • Gianluca Pastorelli (DIESIS - Social Economy Network) who will be responsible for the development of ISTO Europe's network and members and will be in charge of relations with the European institutions;
  • Benoît César (KALEO - Network of accommodation, activities and holidays for young people) who will coordinate the working group on youth tourism and will be in charge of developing European projects on this topic;
  • Anabela Correia (Fundação INATEL Foundation - Promotion of leisure activities, culture, sports and holiday centres) who will coordinate the working group on social policies and domestic tourism and will be in charge of the relations with the members representing national or regional authorities.
