Mexico: ISTO Americas opens the Forum on Sustainable and Accessible Tourism.

On Monday, September 30 2019, ISTO Americas President Sergio Rodríguez Abitia was specially invited to present the opening conference as part of the Mexico City Congress Forum on Sustainable and Accessible Tourism.

The purpose of this Forum was to guide the discussion of local legislators around tourism that would guarantee various rights set out in the local Constitution. The representatives of the Congress Tourism Commission, the Secretary of Tourism of Mexico City, Carlos Mackinley, the Director of AltaMex, Gerardo Pérez and the Director of the Escuela Superior de Turismo de l'Instituto Politécnico Nacional, all members of ISTO, as well as various representatives of the tourist sector of Mexico City, were present.
