Letter to the President of the Commission: why seniors shouldn't be the last ones to travel again.

Patrick Brault, Vice-President of ISTO, has written to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to draw her attention to the relaunch of tourism for senior citizens.

Senior citizens are a target audience for many tourism stakeholders who are in difficulty due to the COVID-19 crisis. By complying with strict health regulations, senior citizens must be able to start travelling again like the rest of the population.

Indeed, they have a positive economic impact on the tourism industry. Moreover, the beneficial psychological impact of holidays is of prime importance for senior citizens.
