The Executive Committee along with the ISTO team met to work on the strategic lines to be followed during 2022.
For the past few years, the International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO) has been organising the "Brainstorming Days" which allow it to strategically discuss the actions to be taken in the upcoming months.
On 25 and 26 January, the members of the Executive Committee and the ISTO team worked together on five strategic themes for the organisation: communications and concepts, ISTO observatory, economic model, statutory meetings and events, and projects.
The discussions that took place were fruitful thanks to the commitment of the entire Executive Committee, comprising:
- President: Isabel Novoa (Novojet - Chile)
- Vice Presidents:Alain Clauwaert (Joie & Vacances - Belgium), Maurizio Davolio (AITR - Italy) and Anabela Correia (Fundação INATEL - Portugal)
- Secretary General: Yves Godin (Joie & Vacances - Belgium)
- Presidents of regional sections: Jöel Capo-Chichi (Vision Solidaire - Burkina Faso) for Africa, Sergio Rodriguez (CCC Consultores - Mexico) for the Americas and Muriel Antoniotti (Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Tourisme - France) for Europe
The 2022 Brainstorming Days have been key meetings that will allow to continue consolidating the different projects and actions that ISTO develops for the benefit of its members and to continue promoting a fair and sustainable tourism for all.
