In its mission to support members in the Americas, even during the Covid-19 pandemic, the ISTO Americas Chapter has been very actively involved through various participation in webinars and workshops.
ISTO Americas responded to all requests from members and partners, preparing materials and delivering these conferences, using different electronic platforms, to an audience mainly from the Americas, but also from Europe, especially Spain.
Since last April, more than 25 conferences, including participation in panels of experts, have been offered for countries as diverse as Chile, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, etc.
The themes addressed have been very varied, and we would especially like to highlight the importance of social tourism as a tool for reviving tourism activity, post-Covid tourism consumption and the behaviour of the different social tourism clienteles, as well as the importance of developing an accessible tourism offer that promotes greater inclusion of people with disabilities.
