The Agencia Catalana de Turismo has timed the launch of a new training course on tourism for all to coincide with ISTO's International Week of Fair and Sustainable Tourism for All. The course is called ‘Accessible tourism for all: where do I start?’ and will be available from this week on the online platform of the ACT training school: #formacionturismecat.

It is a MOOC (Massive Online Open Course) format course that allows users who wish to register to do their training completely online and adapt it to their needs in terms of dedication and timetables.

With the inclusion of this course in its training offer, the ACT wants to promote knowledge about tourism for all among professionals in the tourism sector, so that they understand its scope and potential, know the main profiles of travellers with specific accessibility needs and acquire resources and tools that can help them to make their tourism proposals accessible.

The course has been developed with the collaboration of an expert consultant in tourism for all, and has been designed as an interactive training with exercises, questionnaires and even videos with which to learn about good practices in accessible tourism. It lasts approximately 4 hours.

Date: From 19 June to the end of July
